Store Coupon Policies


Groceries:

King Soopers

Accept Manufacturer’s Coupons?  Yes. Limit of 5 identical coupons for same product, 1 coupon per product.
Accept Internet Printed Coupons?  Yes. “Free Item” coupons will be honored.
Can you stack store and manufacturer’s coupon? You cannot stack e-coupons with paper coupons. 
Doubling? Yes. Any coupon $0.50 or less will be doubled. $0.51 - $0.99 coupons will be “doubled” to $1.00.
Buy One Get One Rules: You can use 2 coupons on a B1G1 sale (one for each product).
Rainchecks? Yes.
Fuel Rewards: For every $100 you spend, you earn a discount of $0.10/gallon on your next purchase of fuel. Discounts accumulate for one month and you have one month to redeem them before they expire. Months do no combine. Redeem at Shell, Loaf-N-Jug, or King Soopers Stations (Note: only $0.10/gallon will come off at Shell and Loaf-N-Jug even if you have more than $0.10 accumulated).

Albertson’s
Accept Manufacturer’s Coupons?  Yes. Limit of 5 identical coupons for same product, 1 coupon per product.
Accept Internet Printed Coupons?  Yes. They will not accept “FREE product” coupons without a required purchase or a coupon with a redemption value that exceeds $5.00.

Can you stack store and manufacturer’s coupon? Yes. “Twice the Value” coupons are considered store coupons. These coupons can only be used in combination with a $1.00 or less manufacturer coupon (a printed face value of $1.01 or greater cannot be combined with Twice the Value store coupons).

Doubling? No.
Buy One Get One Rules: BOGO promotions in their weekly advertisement can be combined with Buy One, Get One Free manufacturer coupons to result in BOTH items being Free.
Rainchecks? Yes. As long as the promotion doesn’t state “while supplies last”.
Overage?  Yes. Coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will have the remaining amount applied to the balance of the transaction.

Safeway
Accept Manufacturer’s Coupons?  Yes. Don’t believe there is a limit?
Accept Internet Printed Coupons?  Yes.
Can you stack store and manufacturer’s coupon? Yes.
Doubling? Yes. Any coupon $0.50 or less will be doubled. $0.51 - $0.99 coupons will be “doubled” to $1.00.
Buy One Get One Rules: Only 1 coupon may be used for B1G1. You may buy one item at half price rather than two at B1G1.
Rainchecks? Yes.

Drug Stores:

Walgreens
Accept Manufacturer’s Coupons?  Yes. The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register Rewards manufacturer coupons, may not exceed the number of items in the transaction. The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction.
Accept Internet Printed Coupons?  Yes.
Can you stack store and manufacturer’s coupon? Yes. Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
Doubling? No.
Buy One Get One Rules: Up to two coupons can be used as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.
What are Register Rewards (RR): Register Reward coupons are special coupons earned by a customer in a prior purchase to be used on another non-prescription, non-alcohol, non-lottery ticket, etc type purchase. There is a limit of one Register Rewards (RR) printed per offer per customer per transaction. If you use a RR from the same offer, another RR may not print (can’t use a RR from a Crest offer on another Crest offer). These do expire!

RiteAid
Accept Manufacturer’s Coupons?  Yes.
Accept Internet Printed Coupons?  Yes. Rite Aid will accept internet / print at home coupons up to the equivalent value of $5.00 off.
Can you stack store and manufacturer’s coupon? Yes. No more than one Rite Aid Valuable coupon, one Rite Aid Manufacturer coupon, and one “5” Manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item.
Doubling? No.
Buy One Get One Rules: They accept two coupons for the purchase of two items that are on Buy One, Get One Free Promotion. They accept a Buy One, Get One Free Coupon with an item that is in our flyer as Buy One, Get One Free, meaning both items are free. The cash register will compute any sales tax due, which varies by state law.
What are +UP Rewards: +UP Reward coupons are special coupons earned by a customer in a prior purchase that can be used for any non-prescription purchase with a small number of exclusions that are listed on the +UP coupon. Multiple +UP coupons can be used (subject to the printed exclusions) up to the amount of purchase before sales tax.

Accept Manufacturer’s Coupons?  Yes.
Accept Internet Printed Coupons?  Yes.
Can you stack store and manufacturer’s coupon?  Yes.
Doubling? No.
Buy One Get One Rules: Not really. The use of one Buy One Get One Free coupon requires that two of the valid items are presented at checkout of which one item will be charged to the guest and the 2nd item will be discounted by its full retail price. A second cents-off coupon of the same type cannot be redeemed towards the purchase price of the first item. (Caveat: If a Target BOGO coupon is used, one additional manufacturer coupon maybe used on the first item. If a Manufacturer BOGO coupon is used, one additional Target coupon may be used on the first item.)
What are Mobile Coupons: You can get Target Mobile Coupons by signing up for Text Alerts at Target.com/mobile or by texting COUPONS to 827438 (TARGET). To redeem, simply show your coupon barcode to the cashier.

Walmart
Accept Manufacturer’s Coupons?  Yes. Limit of 40 per transaction unless approved by a manager.
Accept Internet Printed Coupons?  Yes.
Doubling? No.
